It's Dove at first sight!!!

It's Dove at first sight!!! It's a tale straight out of Disney – an abandoned baby monkey, close to death, is revived by the love of a bird.
The 12-week-old macaque - who was abandoned by his mother - was close to death when it was rescued on Neilingding Island, in Goangdong Province.
After being taken to an animal hospital his health began to improve but he seemed spiritless - until he developed a friendship with a white pigeon
The macaque nestles his head against his feathered friend in this pic.
The blossoming relationship helped to revive the macaque who has developed a new lease of life, say staff at the sanctuary.
Remember to share and spread love and peace.

Stephen Wiltshire – Autistic Artist that has a memory that you would not believe.Read on...

Stephen Wiltshire is an artist who draws and paints detailed cityscapes. He has a particular talent for drawing lifelike, accurate representations of cities, sometimes after having only observed them briefly. In this pic he draws a spellbinding 18ft picture of New York from memory after a 20 minute helicopter ride over city.

Stephen was born in London to West Indian parents on 24th April, 1974. As a child he was mute, and did not relate to other people. Aged three, he was diagnosed as autistic. He had no language and lived entirely in his own world.

At the age of five, Stephen was sent to Queensmill School in London, where it was noticed that the only pastime he enjoyed was drawing. It soon became apparent he communicated with the world through the language of drawing; first animals, then London buses, and finally buildings. These drawings show a masterful perspective, a whimsical line, and reveal a natural innate artistry.

INTERESTING BRAIN ANALYSIS !!!!!

INTERESTING BRAIN ANALYSIS !!!!!

Women - Multiple process
Women's brain is designed to concentrate on multiple tasks at a time.Women can Watch a TV and Talk over phone and cook a new recipe.

Men - Single Process
Men's brain designed to concentrate only one work at a time.. Men cannot watch a TV and talk on phone same time. He stops the TV while Talking. He can either watch TV or talk over phone or cook.

LANGUAGE.
Women can easily learn many languages the way her brain's set up. But cannot find the solutions to problems Men cannot easily learn languages; he can easily solve the problems.
3 year old girl has three times higher vocabulary than 3 year old boy.

ANALYTICAL SKILL
Men's brain has lot of space for handling the analytical process. So easily he can analyze and find the solution for a process. He can design (blue print) a map of a building easily. If a complex map is viewed by women, she cannot understand it. She cannot understand the details of the map easily. For her it is dump lines in a paper.

CAR DRIVING.
While driving a car, men's analytical spaces are used in his brain. He can drive a car fast. If he see an object at long distance, immediately his brain classifies the object (bus or van or car) direction and speed of the object and drive accordingly. Where as women take a long time to recognize the object direction/ speed. His single process mind stops the audio in the car (if any), then concentrate only on the driving. You can often watch, while men driving the car fast, women sit next to him will shout, "GO SLOW" , "CAREFULL", "AAHHH", "OHH GOD.." .etc..

LIE
Many times, when men lie to women face to face, they get caught easily. Her super natural brain observes the facial expression 70%, and the body language 20% and the words from mouth 10%. So he is easily caught while lying. Men's brain does not have this. Women easily lie to men face to face. So guys, while lying to , use phone, or letter or close all the lights or cover your/her face with blanket. Don't lie face to face.

PROBLEM.
End of day, if men have lot of problems, his brain clearly classifies the problems and put into individual rooms of brain, the problems in individual room of brain and finding the solution one by one. You can see many guys looking on the sky's for a long times. If you disturb him, he gets irritated.
End of Day, if women have lot of problems, her brain cannot classify the problems. she wants someone to hear that. After telling everything to a person she goes happily to bed. She does not worry about the problem solved or not.

WANTS
Men want status, success, solutions, big process... etc Women want relationship, friends, family...etc. ..

UNHAPPY
If women unhappy with their relations, she cannot concentrate on work. If men unhappy with their work, he cannot concentrate on the relations.

MAP
Men can easily locate the place in a complex map. His analytical brain does this. While watching a cricket match in a stadium with full of crowd, men can leave his seat to T shop and keeps everything in his mind and comes back to his seat without problems. He uses his analytical skills space of brain. Women can't do this. They often lose their way to their seat.

SPEECH
Women use indirect languages in speech. Priya asked Vijay, "vijay do you like to have a cup of coffee?" This means, Priya really wants a cup of coffee. In the morning."Darling, do you think, will it be good to have an Omlette for breakfast.Men use direct language. "Priya, I want to have a cup of coffee, Pls stop the car when you see a coffee shop". In the morning.." Darling, Can you please prepare an omlette for breakfast".

HANDLING EMOTION
Women talk a lot without thinking, if they are in emotion. Men act a lot without thinking. That's why many of prisoners are men all over the world .

Fruit Salad tree - A tree which can grow a variety of different fruits on it..!!!!

Fruit Salad tree - A tree which can grow a variety of different fruits on it..!!!!
Fruit salad tree sprouts as many as 7 varieties of fruits in one tree. The combinations aren’t quite as diverse as bountiful fruit bowls — apples and peaches, for example, can’t mix. But the trees combine several members of fruit families into one.

A citrus version grows oranges, mandarins, lemons, limes, tangelos, lemonades (a rounded fruit that’s sweet like lemonade) and grapefruit. A stone fruit tree yields peaches, apricots, plums, nectarines, peachcots (a cross between peaches and apricots) and peacherines. The trees can be planted outside in small back yards (depending on their climate requirements), or kept in a pot. Most are self-pollinating so no partner trees or pollinating bees are needed.

Meteora - Between Heaven & Earth , Unbelievable !!!!Simply Amazing and incredible photographs of the Meteora.Read on...

In Meteora, Greece ,six magnificent monasteries still exist, precariously perched atop 1,300 feet high sandstone pinnacles. Hermit monks constructed the first monastery before nuns came to build too. Access to each monastery was crazy, a leap of faith, climbing rocks, and ladders lashed together or large nets until the ropes would break. The bizarre but beautiful monasteries of Meteora are centuries old and listed by UNESCO World Heritage.

The Metéora ("suspended rocks", "suspended in the air" or "in the heavens above") is one of the largest and most important complexes of Eastern Orthodox monasteries in Greece.

The caves in Meteora, Greece, had inhabitants for 50 millennia, but due to raids, “hermit monks” moved to the safety of sandstone rock pinnacles in the 9th century and began building monasteries. More monks and nuns came, building more monasteries perched high upon the cliffs. Wikipedia reports, “Access to the monasteries was originally (and deliberately) difficult, requiring either long ladders lashed together or large nets used to haul up both goods and people. This required quite a leap of faith – the ropes were replaced, so the story goes, only ‘when the Lord let them break.’”

The monasteries are connected by road but before that they had pullies and line that connected like teleferics. The place is so beautiful. A simple place to connect with your soul.

Story behind Lamborghini :

Story behind Lamborghini :

This is an origin story when it comes to Lambo. So here it goes; Back in the 1960s, Ferruccio Lamborghini’s tractor business was booming. Like most wealthy people he decided that the best way to celebrate was to buy himself a Ferarri! After he bought one to his dismay he was quite disappointed with it. He thought that it could be better and more than that, he thought he knew how to make it better. So like a loyal Ferrari customer he went to the owner himself; Enzo. He told him that he liked the Ferrari he had purchased but he had some suggestions on how to make it even better. Enzo looked at him and told him he didn’t need a tractor owner’s advice. Ferrari’s reply was simply "You stick to tractors and let me build sports cars."
Instead of brushing that remark off or backhanding Enzo across the face, Ferruccio decided on a different approach. He decided to build his own car with a V12 engine. In 1964 Lamborghini manufactured the first version of the Lamborghini 350 GT, which exceeded the performance of a Ferrari considerably and since then Lamborghini has evolved into a symbol of wealth and luxury.
Do you know what is the meaning behind the bull in Lamborghini logo? The bull actually symbolizes the founder's zodiac sign-the Taurus. Besides, Ferrucio Lamborghini (founder), loved bullfight.
This is also one of the reasons the bull was incorporated in the logo. The bull illustrates strength, stability and determination, which reflect Lamborghini Company. The shape of the logo symbolize coat of arms.

St Valentine and Valentines day

St Valentine and Valentines day -
Feastday : February 14
Patron of Love, Young People, Happy Marriages
Died: 270

Valentine was a holy priest in Rome, who, with St. Marius and his family, assisted the martyrs in the persecution under Claudius II. He was apprehended, and sent by the emperor to the prefect of Rome, who, on finding all his promises to make him renounce his faith ineffectual, commanded him to be beaten with clubs, and afterwards, to be beheaded, which was executed on February 14, about the year 270. Pope Julius I is said to have built a church near Ponte Mole to his memory, which for a long time gave name to the gate now called Porta del Popolo, formerly, Porta Valetini. In 496 AD Pope Gelasius marked February 14th as a celebration in honor of his martyrdom.

The first representation of Saint Valentine appeared in a The Nuremberg Chronicle, a great illustrated book printed in 1493. [Additional evidence that Valentine was a real person: archaeologists have unearthed a Roman catacomb and an ancient church dedicated to Saint Valentine.] Alongside a woodcut portrait of him, text states that Valentinus was a Roman priest martyred during the reign of Claudius the Goth [Claudius II]. Since he was caught marrying Christian couples and aiding any Christians who were being persecuted under Emperor Claudius in Rome [when helping them was considered a crime], Valentinus was arrested and imprisoned. Claudius took a liking to this prisoner -- until Valentinus made a strategic error: he tried to convert the Emperor -- whereupon this priest was condemned to death. He was beaten with clubs and stoned; when that didn't do it, he was beheaded outside the Flaminian Gate.

He is the Patron Saint of affianced couples, bee keepers, engaged couples, epilepsy, fainting, greetings, happy marriages, love, lovers, plague, travellers, young people. He is represented in pictures with birds and roses.

How a single comma saved a life .....Read on this True and short incident and keep smiling :)
Maria Feodorovna, the empress of Russia and wife of Czar Alexander III, was known for her philanthropy. She once saved a prisoner from exile in Siberia by transposing a single comma in a warrant signed by Alexander. The czar had written: "Pardon impossible, to be sent to Siberia." After Maria's intervention, the note read: "Pardon, impossible to be sent to Siberia." The prisoner was eventually released.

Edison Proposed Marriage ...… by Morse Code!!!! - Read on this true interesting fact/story about Edison .

Edison Proposed Marriage ...… by Morse Code!!!! - Read on this true interesting fact/story about Edison .

On Christmas Day in 1871, at the age of 24, Edison married his 16-year old employee Mary Stilwell, after meeting her just two months earlier. By February, Edison was exasperated at his wife’s inability to invent that he wrote in his diary "Mrs Mary Edison My wife Dearly Beloved Cannot invent worth a Damn!!" and "My Wife Popsy Wopsy Can’t Invent." Mary gave birth to 3 children, the first two Edison nicknamed "Dot" and "Dash."

Two years after Mary died, Edison met and married 20-year-old Mina Miller. The story of how the two met is quite interesting: After Mary’s death, Edison regularly went to Boston and stayed with his friends Mr. and Mrs. Gilliard. The Gilliards made sure that some eligible young lady was "visiting" at the same time. Edison, who was half-deaf, bug-eyed, plagued with halitosis and bad dandruff, would stick his face very close to the girl’s in order to hear her words. This naturally creeped them all out!

One day, the Gilliards introduced Edison to Mina Miller, to whom Edison was immediately smitten:

Edison found his own version of paradise in Fort Myers, then a small village, and apparently decided that he must do three things: build a winter home in Florida, marry Mina, and bring her to his tropical Eden. Once back in New York, Edison–normally a workaholic–was obsessed with his new love. He wrote in his diary at this time: "Saw a lady who looked like Mina. Got thinking about Mina and came near being run over by a streetcar. If Mina interferes much more will have to take out an accident policy."

Edison taught Mina Morse code so they could communicate in secret by tapping into each other’s hands when her family was around. One day, Edison asked .– — ..- .-.. -.. -.– — ..- — .- .-. .-. -.– — . and Mina replied -.– . …

Sensory touches at the bottom of feet and more

Sensory touches at the bottom of feet and more....Quite interesting!!! Keep Walking ........Check this out...
The Organs of our body have their sensory touches at the bottom of our foot, if we massage these points you will find relief from aches and pains as you can see the heart is on the left foot.Typically they are shown as points and arrows to show which organ it connects to.It is indeed correct since the nerves connected to these organs terminate here. This is covered in great details in Acupressure studies or textbooks.

God created our body so well that he thought of even this. He made us walk so that we will always be pressing these pressure points and thus keeping these organs activated at all times.

Check out this interesting document with more details on both the touchpoints in palms and feet and other interesting facts and tips. http://www.4sight-tech.com/ppt/health.pdf

God and brain - Michelangelo’s Secret message in the Sistine Chapel

God and brain - Michelangelo’s Secret message in the Sistine Chapel: A juxtaposition of God and the human brain of Michelangelo's "Creation of Adam".I love Art and paintings, but n'r new about this coincidence and interpretation before. Some call it fascinating, others 'brainy' and yet others describe it as, 'cooler than the DaVinci Code.'.Read on and have a beautiful Sunday...

The Creation of Adam (1508-1512) on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel has long been recognized as one of the world’s great art treasures. In 1990 Dr Frank Lynn Meshberger, M.D from St John's Medical Center in Anderson, described what millions had overlooked for centuries — an anatomically accurate image of the human brain was portrayed behind God. He argues that Michelangelo used his knowledge of Neuroanatomy to portray the brain symbolically in his ''Creation of Adam''.
In the famous fresco, Adam and God face each other, arms outstretched, index fingers almost touching, while a crowd of angels and an apprehensive Eve peer from God's side.

On close examination, borders in the painting correlate with sulci in the inner and outer surface of the brain, the
brain stem, the basilar artery, the pituitary gland and the optic chiasm. God’s hand does not touch Adam, yet Adam is already alive as if the spark of life is being transmitted across a synaptic cleft. Below the right arm of God is a sad angel in an area of the brain that is sometimes activated on PET scans when someone experiences a sad thought. God is superimposed over the limbic system, the emotional center of the brain and possibly the anatomical counterpart of the human soul. God’s right arm extends to the prefrontal cortex, the most creative and most uniquely human region of the brain.

The painting depicts God bestowing intellect on man, arguing that Adam’s eyes are open in the painting, God and the angels take on the distinct shape of a brain, and that Michelangelo was well aware of human anatomy from the many cadavers he dissected in his study of the human form for his art.

Dr. Meshberger's theory appears in The Journal of the American Medical Association and here is the Wellcorps article by him.If you can comprehend medical terms have a look at the article. It has lot more info.

He is quoted as saying:- "Most babies are born in 9 months. I, on the other hand, stuck around an extra 3 months, until my mother was forced to go to a surgeon to bring me into the world, kicking & screaming, by Cesarean section"!! This is taken from his Biography, I am Jackie Chan - My Life in Action. You forget all the things, you just do it!

Who's on the picture?

How you perceive the image depends on the distance from which you are viewing it.

This is one of a series of hybrid images created by Aude Oliva of the Computational Visual Cognition Lab at MIT.Here's an explanation of how these images work.

The work carried out by Oliva's group shows that the brain extracts large-scale features slightly earlier than fine-grained features. Large scale features are processed within 50 milliseconds, giving an overall impression of the visual scene. The processing of fine-grained details begins slightly later, at around 100 milliseconds. The fine- and coarse-grained features are extracted separately, and processed in parallel through different channels, in successively higher order areas of the visual cortex. In a process called perceptual grouping, the information from the channels is then seamlessly recombined at visual cortical areas of the highest order to produce a coherent, and usually unambiguous, image.
